Saturday 22nd April

10.00 arrival Polish guests at school (backgate), followed by reception(Central hall) > stay with

the host families

Sunday 23rd April:

private program for the host families and their guests

Monday 24th April (host(esse)s:

please, don’t forget to bring lunches for 2, every day!!!)

09.00 assembly at school for quick exchange of first experiences (central hall > 154)

09.15 welcome by the headmaster of St.-Odulphus, mr M. Korsten. (room 154) + briefing

9.30 Communal breakfast, followed by tour of the school/ Maths lesson

11.00 interval ?

11.30 walk through Tilburg to church in the centre – short visit church? – walk back via different

route

13.00 lunch, followed by departure (by bike/car) to the swimming pool.

14.00 start swimming event (Stappegoor, next to the skating rink)

15.30 after a quick hairdry: rest of the day off > host families

Tuesday 25th April

08.15 assembly at school for all; (be on time and don’t forget lunches for you and your guest or

bring some money to buy a sandwich or a snack for two)

08.30 departure to Amsterdam (Rembrandt tour? / choice museum(van Gogh?) / shopping spree)

+ boattrip+ evening meal)

While in Amsterdam: strictly follow the teachers’ instructions at all times, please!!

There will be ample time to go as you please (with a map provided by us) on condition you

report back in time according to instructions.(Any problem? Jan:?06-44340385)

16.30? Start boattrip from Rokin (see map!) Please, be on time!!!!

18.00? dinner at Amsterdam Mensa Atrium (see map!)

19.15 departure back to school (arrival ca 21.00?) Evening with hosts.

Wednesday 26th April

09.00 assembly at school (central hall)

09.15 start of an introduction on ‘(soft) drugs: international policies and European legislation’

+ research on the subject + discussions / preparation of questions (upper barracks 181-184)

12.45 lunch

13.30 forum & debate on the results of the workgroups in room 154

15.00 short break for tea, followed by sports program, in- or outdoors, depending on the weather

16.00 end of day’s program

Thursday 27th April

09.00 assembly at school (central hall)

09.15 start preparations of the visits to social institutions; listen carefully to instructions and see

next pages for info on the institutions and a survey of the various international groups.

10.30 most groups leave for their visits at 11.00; see grouplist for (deviant) instructions.

Have your lunches at any appropriate time, depending on the time of your group’s visit!

13.30 Writing of reports (in room 115 and / or computerroom), based on the notes you took (!)

during your visit, and working them out on the computer (Wordformat, Times New Roman,

12); Further instructions will be given there and then. The reports are collected immediately

after you have finished writing them and published in a booklet that everyone will receive,

as a souvenir of your efforts.

19.00 assembly at school (central hall)

19.15 Social Evening / Farewell Party (with some serious questions on what we have learnt?),

brightened up by the worldfamous 5-minute-acts by our guests and hosts!

Drinks and snacks will be provided free for all!

22.30 End of party: of course we all help clearing up the mess before we go home (or ?).

Friday 28th April:

Visit to world Award –winning Theme park

The Efteling

8.30 departure group 1: Marie Curie + hosts

9.30 departure group 2: Bolesław Chrobry + hosts

17.30 group 1 > exit and coach, departure at 17.45!

18.00 group 2 > exit and wait for coach near entrance park, departure at 18.45

Rest of the evening free programme!
